What To Bring:
Water
Bachi (taiko drumsticks) if you have them, otherwise we are happy to loan you a pair.
Indoor Tabi (or other indoor shoes with flexibility and traction). Only necessary if you do not want to go barefoot.
An open heart and mind. Get ready to connect with others with your most present self.
Studio Policies:
Street shoes are not allowed in the studio, we recommend players to go barefoot for the best grip and connection with the ground. Otherwise, you may wear shoes with clean soles such as indoor tabi.
Everyone must wear earplugs or noise-canceling headphones while in the studio. The drums are very loud, and the studio does not carry sound well. We have disposable earplugs available if you do not have any.
To avoid injury and have the greatest range of motion, please remove any jewelry on the hands, wrists, and feet.
